Aaaand I decided to fill out the Sherlock Ship meme. I tend to ship on the more canonical side of things (though there are exceptions) Please hear me out before flipping out in the comments. In fact, don't flip out in the comments at all, or I will find you, and I will sssssskin you.

I added the Other category because I needed it.

So here are my opinions

OTPs:  I have none yet, although Sherlolly might be headed in that direction.

Ships:
Sherlolly:  Ah, a one-sided crush that is a bit heartbreaking.  It was really the scene in The Empty Hearse where Sherlock tells her that she matters that made me ship it instead of just feeling bad for Molly.  Sherlock cares for her, but he's definitely not there yet, which is fine with me.  I'm not a hard-core Sherlolly shipper, but I think it would be cute, and that Molly would be good for him, but we'll see how it goes.

Jary (or whatever you call it there has to be a better name than that): *prepares for the crapstorm headed my way* They do love each other. It'll be harder now with what we know about Mary, but Sherlock was right, she's perfect for John. Yeah, she did some crappy stuff but so has Sherlock. She's killed people? So has Sherlock.  She betrayed John's trust? So has Sherlock.  So shut the crap up. (And hating Mary for having a crappy past life really doesn't make sense, considering most of this fandom loves MORIARTY for Pete's world's sake) Plus, Sherlock ships it, you can just tell. He purposely made John hear her out, keeping them together.  He wouldn't still want them together if he thought she'd hurt him or wasn't good for him. 

Okay: John hear her out, keeping them together

Donderson:  It's canon, and there's no real reason to hate it, but no reason to like it either. Plus, I feel that Anderson redeemed himself, while Donovan hasn't.  Oh and I forgot Anderson is (was?) married.  So yeah I'd move it to don't like but I'm too lazy. (also I really want Donovan to get more/better character development please and thank you)

Don't like:

Mollstrade: I can see where this one comes from, but I just can't see it happening. (They are my two favorite minor characters though)

Morene (is that the ship name?): I suppose it could happen, but no.  That's just not a good idea

Kill it with fire:

Donolock: There was this fan fiction I saw once.  I don't wanna talk about it. (honestly the first time I watched SiP I got the impression that they had been a thing, but that just... no. Just no.)

Watsiarty: No.  Just No.

Mystrade: Okay, just one thing: Where the crap did this even come from? Have they ever even had a scene together? Why is this so popular?! I need answers.  No offense to anyone who ships it, but to me it's just weird.

BrOTPs:

Sherlock and John: I fail to see the "romance" "subtext" and "sexual tension" that the rest of the internet does. They're really good friends and they do love each other, but in a platonic way (at least in my opinion)  Even if their relationship did seem romantic to me, I don't think I'd ship it, John puts up with just a bit too much of Sherlocks crap, which works for a friendship, but not a romantic relationship.

Sherlock and Mary: Yeah yeah yeah, go ahead and whine about HLV, but they LIKE each other.  They have genuinely liked each other since they first met and they still do.

Sherlock and Lestrade: Lestrade is such a sweet heart and is kind of a dad to everyone, but his and Sherlocks relationship is the best.  He encourages Sherlock and relies on him, but he also won't take Sherlocks crap.  It's a great, almost father/son relationship.

Sherlock and Mycroft: Ah the Holmes bros. Possibly the weirdest and most interesting relationship in this show (which is really saying something). Underneath all the bitterness and resentment, they really do care about each other.  I WANT MORE BACKSTORY.

John and Mycroft: All their meetings about Sherlock's well being, being the two people who probably care about him the most, make them strangely close in a way. Plus, I think Mycroft casually kidnapping John all the time is hilarious.

Other:

Adlock: What do you call Frenemies + flirting?

Sheriarty: This relationship is the hardest to explain, it's the closest to an OTP I have for this show, but it's not quite one.  They're enemies, or maybe more accurately rivals, but it's so much more than that.  It's not quite romantic, I do feel Jim is somewhat attracted to Sherlock, with all his flirtation and creepering on him, but it's unrequited. They're not quite frenemies because they've never been friends, but they understand each other.  They have such a deep, fundamental understanding of the others mind that they can't bring themselves to hate the other, and I think it scares them both a little. In a way, they do love each other, and are certainly obsessed with each other. They view the other as their most worthy opponent, and they love the game they play.  They're Soulmates, but not particularly romantically.  I really have no good simple explanation for what exactly this relationship is, but I LOVE it. (some day I want to write a better long analysis of this, I really could go on all day about this)

I didn't put Moran with anyone because he's not a canon character yet, so I don't know how he'd be with anyone. (although I have some platonic MorMor headcanons...)

Also I kind of BrOTP Sherlock and Janine, at least in Sign of Three

I didn't address Molliarty because I'm not really sure where it fits in.  With the characters how they are now, Molliarty is all that is wrong in this world (no disrespect if you ship it, it's just NOT my division)  But if some of the fan theories are true and they decide to make Molly a villain, I could see it happening (But if they make Molly a villain, I'll have to punch them in the face)
